About LumiHQ · Built in Australia

We got tired of paying three companies to do one job.

LumiHQ is built and owned in Australia, for photographers who’d rather be shooting than reconciling invoices at 11pm on a Sunday.

How it started

Fifteen minutes of admin for a forty-dollar print, and a spreadsheet that should never have existed.

Running a photography business here has meant stitching together American software: a gallery service that bills in US dollars, a CRM that has never heard of GST, an invoicing app that wants the same client details typed in for a third time, and a spreadsheet holding the whole thing together.

The breaking point was mundane. A client asks for a print of a photo she has favourited. To sell it you export the file, upload it to a lab portal, work out the margin by hand, raise an invoice somewhere else, then chase the payment. Fifteen minutes of admin for a forty-dollar print — and that is the fast path, the one where nothing goes wrong.

So LumiHQ is the version of that evening where none of it happens. One login. Galleries that look like your studio, not ours. A print store that takes nothing off the top. And the admin — bookings, contracts, invoices, GST — sitting in the same place, already reconciled by Monday.

Every feature has to survive a real Saturday before it ships. That is the whole quality bar.

Four things we won’t change our minds about.

01

Your photographs, not our brand

A client gallery should look like it came from your studio. No LumiHQ logo, no “powered by”, no upsell banners in front of someone's wedding photos.

02

We don't take a cut of your prints

You already paid us a subscription. Charging a second time on every sale is a tax on your own work, and we won't add one later either.

03

Calm software, meant literally

No streaks, no badges, no notifications engineered to pull you back in. A dashboard that wants your attention is a dashboard costing you a Sunday.

04

Your data leaves whenever you want

Full-resolution originals, client lists and financial records export in one click. Lock-in isn't a business model, it's an admission the product isn't good enough.

The test for every feature: would a working photographer on a Sunday night thank us for it?
