What's new in Lumi HQ.

The biggest things we’ve added, newest first. Most of them started as a photographer telling us what was slowing them down, so if something is slowing you down, tell us.

Rotate and replace photos

  • NewRotate a sideways photo, or a whole selection, right in the gallery.
  • ImprovedReplacing a photo with a new version keeps its favourites, its place in the gallery and any orders.
  • NewChoose whether clients can crop their prints, under Store → Settings.
  • NewSend us an idea from the Bug / feature request button in your dashboard, and see what we may build next on the new Coming soon page.
  • ImprovedYour notifications and account menu now sit together in the top right of the dashboard, next to New.

  • NewRather not run the importers yourself? Ask us from Settings → Import and we'll move your galleries, clients and jobs across for you, with the price confirmed before you pay.

A new look that follows the sun

  • NewThe new Lumi HQ logo, with a sun that rises and sets with your own clock.
  • ImprovedButtons and links are now the same blue as the logo, and teal is kept for things that are confirmed, paid or signed, so the two no longer look alike.
  • ImprovedToday's date is marked in yellow on the calendar and in date pickers.

Proposals, workflows and store campaigns

  • NewProposals: your client picks a package, signs the contract and pays, all from one link.
  • NewWorkflows: the steps you repeat on every job, such as questionnaires and reminders, run on their own.
  • NewStore campaigns: automatic emails that bring clients back to order prints of the photos they loved.
  • NewNotifications on your phone for new enquiries, client replies, payments and signed contracts. Switch them on in Settings → Notifications.
  • NewClients who add their gallery to their home screen can get a notification when you add new photos.
  • ImprovedOpening Lumi HQ from your iPhone or iPad home screen shows the logo while it loads, instead of a blank white screen.
