Give a client their own portal

One private link where a client finds their invoices, contracts and forms.

The portal is a single private page for one client, holding everything they need for their booking: what they owe, what they need to sign, what they need to fill in. It replaces the thread of attachments most photographers end up maintaining by hand.

Sending it

Send the portal link from the client's booking. They get an email with a link that works without a password — the link itself is the key, so it's private as long as they don't forward it.

Note

Anyone with the link can open the portal. That's deliberate: couples share one, and a password would just mean two people locked out at once. Don't post it anywhere public.

What clients can do there

  • See and pay invoices, including instalments in a payment schedule
  • Read and sign contracts
  • Fill in questionnaires
  • Find their booking details
Tip

Send the portal link once, early, and refer back to it. Clients who bookmark it stop asking you to resend the contract — which is most of the admin email you'd otherwise be writing.
