Discount codes

A code takes a percentage or a dollar amount off, or makes shipping free. You can limit it to prints or to downloads, set a minimum spend, keep it to one gallery, give it start and end dates, and cap how many times it can be used. Clients type it at checkout and see the new total before they pay.

Note

A code never comes off shipping — use a free-shipping code for that. Once made, a code's terms can't be changed, because clients may already have it; switch it off and make a new one.

When a package includes prints — "$200 of prints included" — give the client that much credit in the gallery's Settings, under Print store. It comes off their order automatically when they check out with the same email address: there's no code to send and nothing for them to remember. Anything they don't spend stays for next time. Credit pays for the products, not shipping.

Free shipping over an amount

StoreSettingsOpen

Set an amount, and orders with at least that much in prints ship free. The cart tells clients how much more they'd need to add, which is the point — it's the most reliable way to turn one print into two.

Unfinished orders

When a client gets as far as payment and doesn't finish, they get one reminder a few hours later, with a button that puts their cart back together. If you review your emails before they go, it waits in your Outbox like the rest, and you can change its wording under Settings → Automations → Client emails. Switch it off under Store → Settings.

Black & white prints

Clients can order any print in black & white at the same price; the lab is sent a converted file. It's on by default — switch it off under Store → Settings if you'd rather not offer it.

GST on receipts

If you charge GST — your ABN is saved and Registered for GST is on under Settings → Tax & invoices — the client's order confirmation becomes a tax invoice, with your business name, ABN and the GST included in the total. Store prices are always GST-inclusive.
