Automate the emails you always send
Reminders, delivery notices and follow-ups that go out without you remembering.
Automations send an email when something happens — a shoot is a week away, an invoice went overdue, a gallery has sat unopened for five days. Each type has its own editable template, so the wording is yours rather than ours.
Worth turning on first
- Shoot reminder — cuts no-shows and last-minute confusion about where to meet
- Invoice overdue — the follow-up nobody enjoys writing
- Gallery delivered — and a nudge if it hasn't been opened
Edit the templates before enabling them. A default that doesn't sound like you is worse than no automation, because clients can tell — and it's going out under your name.
How they're sent
Scheduled emails sit in a queue and are processed on a regular cycle, so an email due at a given time may go out shortly after rather than to the second. That's normal. If something hasn't sent hours later, check the outbox for a failure.
Automations act on real client data. Before switching one on, read its template with your worst-case client in mind — an overdue reminder that fires at someone who paid yesterday is a phone call you'll have to make.
