Export your data or close your account

Get your work out, and what happens to galleries and clients if you leave.

Your photos and your client records are yours. Leaving should be an inconvenience, not a hostage situation.

Getting your work out

  • Photos — download the originals gallery by gallery. Do this first; it takes the longest.
  • Financial records — use the bookkeeping export for the invoice and payment history your accountant needs.
  • Documents — signed contracts and questionnaire answers can be downloaded from each job.
Careful

Do the export before you cancel. Once the account closes, galleries come down and the data goes with them — and a lapsed account is the worst possible moment to discover you needed something out of it.

Cancelling

SettingsPlans & BillingOpen

Cancelling stops the subscription at the end of the period you've paid for — you keep access until then rather than losing it the moment you click. If you only need a break, downgrading keeps your work online at a smaller size.

What your clients see

When the account closes, gallery links stop working. If clients still have downloads owing, give them notice and a deadline before you cancel — a wedding gallery that vanishes without warning is the kind of thing people write reviews about.

Note

Print orders already placed are unaffected — they're with the lab and will still be delivered, and payments already made are already in your Stripe account.
