My import is stuck or incomplete
How long an import should take, and what to do when photos are missing.
First: is it actually stuck?
Imports run in the background and copy every photo from the other platform. A few thousand images taking an hour or more is normal, and the progress display doesn't move smoothly — it advances in jumps as batches complete. Leave a large import overnight before treating it as failed.
Photos are missing
- The gallery was private or password-protected on the other platform — we can only read what your connected account can see.
- Files were removed there — a photo deleted on the source can't be imported.
- The connection expired mid-run — reconnect the platform under Settings → Integrations and run it again.
Re-import always creates new galleries rather than overwriting existing ones, so nothing you already have can be lost. Delete the incomplete gallery here and run it again — your originals on the other platform are untouched either way.
It failed immediately
That's almost always the connection rather than the photos. Disconnect and reconnect the platform under Settings → Integrations — authorisations expire, and expired ones fail fast.
If a specific gallery fails repeatedly while others import fine, tell us which one and we'll look at that job directly.
