My client can't open their gallery
The five reasons a gallery link fails, in the order they're worth checking.
Open the link yourself in a private browsing window first. That one step separates “the gallery is broken” from “it works for me because I'm logged in”, and it decides everything below.
1. Is it published?
Unpublished galleries return a not-found page to everyone, password or not. Check the publish switch on Share & access — this is the most common cause by a wide margin.
2. Has it expired?
If you set an expiry date and it's passed, the gallery stops opening. Clear or extend the date under Settings → Access and it's back immediately, with everything intact.
3. Wrong or changed password
Passwords are case-sensitive, and a password copied out of a message often brings a trailing space with it. If you changed the password after delivery, anyone using the old one is locked out — including family your client forwarded it to.
4. An old or mangled link
Renaming your studio slug or a gallery changes its URL and breaks links you've already sent. Messaging apps also truncate long links. Copy a fresh link from the Share tab and send that.
5. Their device
Ask them to try a different browser or their phone on mobile data. Corporate networks and aggressive content blockers do occasionally block image-heavy sites, and that isn't something you can fix from your end.
Send the client-facing version of this instead of writing the instructions out. It's written for them, not for you.
