Set the cover and change how a gallery looks
Choose the cover image, the theme, fonts and layout your client sees.
The cover
The cover is the first thing your client sees and the image that shows up when the link is pasted into a message. Pick a wide frame with room for the title to sit over it — a tight portrait crop gets awkward on desktop, where the cover runs full width.
Themes
A theme sets the typography, colour and grid for the client-facing gallery. Your studio brand supplies the defaults, and a gallery can override them when a particular delivery calls for something different. Changes are live as soon as you save, including for clients who already have the link.
Layout choices worth thinking about
- Grid vs masonry — masonry respects your crops; a uniform grid reads calmer for large sets.
- Thumbnail size — bigger thumbnails suit fewer, stronger images.
- Slideshow — a full-screen auto-advancing view. Worth enabling for a first-look moment.
Preview on a phone before you send. Most clients open a gallery on their phone first, usually while doing something else, and a layout that sings on a 27-inch monitor can be a scroll marathon on a handset.
