Getting started

Set up your studio profile and branding

Your logo, colours, URL and business details — the things that show up on everything a client sees.

Almost everything a client sees carries your branding rather than ours — galleries, invoices, contracts, the client portal and every automated email. It's worth spending ten minutes here before your first delivery.

Your studio URL

Your slug is the first part of every gallery link: lumi-hq.com/your-studio/gallery-name. Pick it carefully — it's how clients recognise the link as yours, and changing it later breaks any link you've already sent, along with bookmarks your clients have saved.

Careful

Some names are reserved (admin, help, store, support and similar) because they're used by the platform itself. If the one you want is taken, it may be reserved rather than claimed by another studio.

Logo and colours

Upload a logo (a transparent PNG works best on both light and dark gallery themes) and set your primary and accent colours. These feed the client-facing pages and your email templates. Individual galleries can still override the look on their Look tab if a particular delivery wants a different treatment.

Business details for paperwork

Your business name, ABN and invoice name are separate fields from your display name, because what goes on a tax invoice is often not what goes on a gallery. If you're registered for GST, fill in the ABN here — invoices can't be valid tax invoices without it. See GST and tax invoices.

Watermarks

You can upload a watermark and set its position, size and opacity. Watermarking is non-destructive: your original file is kept untouched and a separate watermarked copy is generated, so turning it off later restores clean images rather than degrading them permanently.
