Upload and organise photos
Get files in, sort them into folders, and fix mistakes in bulk.
Uploading
Drag files anywhere onto the Media tab, or use the upload button. If the gallery has no folders yet, one is created automatically so nothing lands in limbo. Uploads continue in the background — start them and get on with something else.
Upload originals, not exports sized for the web. Previews are generated automatically, and the full-resolution file is what a client downloads or a lab prints from.
Folders
Folders appear as tabs across the top of the gallery and as sections your client can jump between — “Getting ready”, “Ceremony”, “Reception”. Most galleries need two or three. Reorder them by dragging; the order clients see is the order you set here.
Selecting in bulk
- Hover a photo and click its corner to select it.
- Shift-click another to select the whole range between them — the fastest way to grab a ceremony block.
- Use the action bar that appears to move the selection to another folder or delete it.
Ordering photos
Within a folder you can sort by capture time, filename, or drag into a custom order. Capture time is the sensible default for events — it tells the story in the order it happened. Custom order is worth the effort for portfolio-style deliveries where you want to open on your strongest frame.
Deleting a photo removes the original and its previews. There's no bin to restore from. If you're culling aggressively, move rejects to a folder called “Not delivered” and leave it hidden until you're sure.
