I downloaded my photos — where did they go?

Finding the file after it downloads, and opening a ZIP.

On a computer

Look in your Downloads folder. A whole-gallery download arrives as a single ZIP file — double-click it to open. On a Mac it unpacks into a folder next to it; on Windows, choose “Extract all” to get the photos out before using them.

On an iPhone

Single photos go to your Photos app. A ZIP goes to the Files app, usually under Downloads — tap it to unpack, then open the folder to see the photos.

On Android

Check your Files or My Files app under Downloads. Tap the ZIP to extract it, then open the resulting folder.

Back them up

These are the full-quality originals of a day you can't repeat. Once you've downloaded them, copy them somewhere else too — cloud storage, an external drive, or both. Don't leave the only copy in a phone's Downloads folder.
